THE NEIGHBORHOOD

OUR
LOCATION

Urban living is distinguished by the ease it provides to accessing culture, arts, dining and playing. Kennedy House is in the center of it all.

A few steps in any direction and you'll find yourself in the midst of all this thriving city has to offer.

Culture and Museums
A short walk gets you to the Philadelphia Museum of Art, Rodin Museum, and the Barnes Foundation. The Parkway is also home to the Franklin Institute, Free Library of Philadelphia, Academy of Natural Sciences and Moore College of Art.

Restaurants and Shopping
Three blocks south of Kennedy House is Rittenhouse Square, home to some of the best restaurants in Philadelphia, craft fairs, Music in the Park, Curtis School of Music, the Art Alliance and street entertainment.

Suburban Station's underground shopping concourse affords shopping and an alternative walkway to Broad St.

Transportation
In less than a 7-minute walk Amtrak 30th Street Station awaits. Walking one block East on JFK is Suburban Station, the hub for SEPTA regional Rail.

Not everyone likes to walk; not everyone likes using a car. Walk one block in any direction and there is convenient Public Transportation including; SEPTA's Regional Rail, Multiple bus lines, trolley, Broad Street Subway, and the Market-Frankford El.

Outdoors and Events
An entrance to the Schuylkill River Walk is just two blocks west on JFK Blvd. Schuylkill River boat tours and new retail development along Schuylkill Banks continue to bring growing energy to the area.

The Parkway hosts the Fourth of July and Memorial Day celebrations, Thanksgiving Day and the Philadelphia Marathon. Of course, you can watch these from the street, but it’s just as easy to view them from the roof.
